Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for the Houston, Texas area for the 2026-2027 school year. This W-2 role involves supporting a K-12 caseload with a collaborative special education team, focusing on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

The candidate will conduct psychoeducational evaluations, participate in ARD/IEP meetings, and provide counseling and behavioral support as needed. Texas LSSP licensure or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology required.
• Active Texas LSSP licensure or eligibility required.
• Experience in school setting preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments.
• Prepare written evaluation reports and interpret data.
• Attend ARD/IEP meetings and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Counsel with students, teachers, and families on interventions.
• Support students with counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral strategies.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education guidelines.

• Interpret assessment data and prepare written evaluation reports

• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding academic and behavioral interventions
• Support students through counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation as appropriate
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education guidelines

Qualifications

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology
• Active Texas Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Previous school-based experience preferred
