School Psychologist

AB Staffing is looking for experienced School Psychologists for the upcoming 2025/2026 school year.

Locations: Psychologists needed throughout Arizona: Phoenix, Surprise, Glendale, Peoria, Litchfield, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, and more locations.

Job Description:

• Openings in Elementary, Middle, and High School – Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location.
• Contract through the 2025/2026 school year – 32 hours per week.
• Contract follows the academic district calendar.

Pay:

$60.00 – $66.00/hr. DOE
$1,920.00 – $2,112.00 per week

Qualifications:

• Graduate Degree (M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in psychology, social work, or counseling.
• School Psychologist Certificate in the state of AZ.
• Must be able to obtain, and hold, a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Experience conducting psycho-educational evaluations; experience in school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and demonstrate initiative.
• Physical requirements include standing or sitting for extended periods, seeing and reading printed or digital materials, hearing speech, and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.

Essential Functions:

• Provide evaluation, consultative, and counseling services in schools for initial assessments and reevaluations of children in special education programs.
• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and lead multidisciplinary teams in identifying students with disabilities.
• Communicate assessment results and recommendations verbally and in written reports.
• Participate in eligibility and program decisions to meet students' needs.
• Engage in professional development activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
