Job summary

AB Staffing Solutions is seeking a School Psychologist for Monroe County, Michigan, for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is full-time, with standard hours and a typical schedule from 8:05 AM to 3:55 PM, Monday through Friday, in the Monroe area between Detroit and Toledo.

The candidate will conduct assessments, provide counseling, and collaborate with families to support student success. Competitive pay and credentialing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in School Psychology or Ed.S. required.
• Meet Michigan MS DOE certification requirements for a preliminary School Psychologist.

Responsibilities

• Recommend evidence-based interventions to improve academic performance.

Position Details

Full-time, Monday-Friday Standard Hours: 8:05 AM – 3:55 PM Start Date – ASAP Between Detroit and Toledo

Essential Functions:

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments to identify learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, autism, ADHD, emotional or behavioral disorders, and giftedness.
• Provide individual or group counseling for issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, stress, anger, and peer relationships.
• Recommend evidence-based interventions to improve academic performance.
• Develop and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Collaborate with parents to support students at home and school.

Salary:

$58.00-$62.00 per hour $2,320-$2,480 per week
