Job summary

Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a full-time School Psychologist to provide in-person school-based services for a local district in Chester, PA. This role offers competitive compensation for direct and indirect time, plus mentorship and access to a lending library of testing tools.

The candidate will hold State License in Psychology, PDE Certification as a School Psychologist, and required clearances; they will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, design interventions, monitor progress,

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist with school-based credentials.
• Certification to work in school settings (PDE).
• Background checks and clearances as required by state and federal law.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, instruction, and mentoring for students with social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to evaluate eligibility for special education.
• Assess barriers to learning and determine effective instructional strategies.
• Design and implement interventions and student progress monitoring systems.
• Support effective individualized instruction and progress tracking.
• Help create positive classroom environments.
• Collect and analyze data related to school improvement and student outcomes.
• Respond to crises with leadership and referrals to community resources.

KELLY PEDIATRIC THERAPY is seeking a full-time School Psychologist to provide in person school-based services for a local school district in Chester, PA.

• This is a 1099 Independent contracting position, allowing for greater flexibility.
• Kelly Pediatric Therapy provides consistent on-site and off-site mentorship with Clinical Directors and Team Leaders.
• School-Based Academy: We provide the support and community that a new School-Based therapist needs to feel comfortable and to be successful.
• Lending Library: Kelly Pediatric Therapy recognizes the additional expenses in providing evaluation for materials. We have an extensive library of testing tools and assessments for therapist to borrow as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, instruction, and mentoring for students struggling with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to evaluate eligibility for special education services
• Increase student achievement by assessing barriers to learning and determining the best instructional strategies to meet individual needs
• Design and implement interventions and student progress monitoring systems
• Support effective individualized instruction
• Help to create positive classroom environments
• Collect and analyze data related to school improvement, student outcomes, and accountability requirements
• Promote school policies and programs that ensure the safety of all students by reducing school violence, bullying, and harassment and that help to maintain positive school climates conducive to learning
• Respond to crisis by providing leadership, direct services, and referrals to community support services when needed
