Job summary

The Gardner School in Powell, OH is seeking a School Program Coordinator to lead a dynamic team in a state-of-the-art facility. You will oversee daily operations, manage regulatory compliance, and support teachers to provide high-quality early education for children and parents.

You’ll coordinate administrative duties, monitor safety, and contribute to professional development while promoting a compassionate, mission-driven culture. Growth opportunities exist within our expanding program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education Administration, or related field.
• Must meet state licensing requirements for Assistant Director qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years in a licensed child development program, with at least 1 year as a teacher or supervising a childcare program.

Responsibilities

• Manage the School in conformance with all state and local regulations and The Gardner School policies and procedures.
• Open and close the school in the absence of the Executive School Director and Assistant School Director.
• Prepare and forward reports in accordance with The Gardner School policies and procedures.
• Lead and teach children through all activities of the day, assuring they have an enjoyable, well-rounded educational experience in the absences of teaching staff.
• Enforces all safety rules and regulations with staff for the safety of the children and parents.
