Pay: $18.25 - $19 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 3 - 6:30 p.m. / Friday: 1- 6:30 p.m.

Program:
SBCS’s Before and After School Programs work with local schools to provide safe environments for students to engage in extended learning and recreational activities provided for by the ASES and ASSETS grants. BASP programs include homework support, organized sports, arts activities and a multitude of academic activities in an environment parents can rely on to be safe daily until 6 p.m. These programs are housed in both traditional public and charter schools from 1st- 12th grades.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of SBCS Site supervisor(s), the School Programs Youth Leader is responsible for the supervision, development and implementation of academic, enrichment, and social-emotional well-being for groups of 10-20 youth participating in the after-school program. The Youth Leader will also assist students in improving academic skills and reaching performance goals in core academic subjects. Services will be in keeping with agency goals, objectives, mission and style and provided within a team framework. The School Programs Youth Leader is responsible for working in collaboration with the school site personnel to meet grant, school district, and SBCS afterschool program goals and objectives.
