The Williamsport Area School District is accepting applications for a School Police Officer (SPO) at the Elementary Level for the 2025-26 School Year. The role involves providing law enforcement services to district schools and properties by monitoring and ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, and the community.
Requirements include:
A minimum of 10 years' experience on the PA State Police Force, Municipal Police Force, SPO, or other certified police officer is required. CPR and First Aid certified; Weapons Proficiency Qualified and Current Certification are also required.
