Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is hiring multiple paraeducators for the 2026–2027 school year in Bellevue, WA. These in-person, school-based positions support students with classwork, IEP accommodations, and classroom routines under a certified teacher.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional district qualifications may apply.
• Ability to follow teacher direction and work effectively with students and school staff.
• Strong communication skills, patience, and professionalism.
• Experience working with children or students with disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classwork, learning activities, and IEP accommodations under the direction of a certified teacher.
• Reinforce positive behavior strategies and help maintain a supportive classroom environment.
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other parts of the school day.
• Help prepare materials and support classroom routines.
• Depending on the assignment, assist students with personal care, feeding, or mobility.
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists while maintaining student confidentiality.
