Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing in Lynbrook, NY seeks a School Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract, part-time opportunity. The OT will evaluate students, develop and provide therapy services, and document care per each student’s plan of care.

Minimum NY OT licensure, CPR, and state/federal compliance are required; 18+ and preferred 1 year of OT experience. Compensation is $65/hour with approximately 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
• One year of prior occupational therapy experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform student evaluations and develop/provide therapy services.
• Document services in accordance with the plan of care for each student.
