Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist for a K-12 district in San Jacinto, CA. You will evaluate students, develop goals, and provide OT services to promote independence in the school setting.

This role collaborates with families, teachers, and special education staff, participates in IEP planning, and maintains documentation. The position offers pay at $75.00 per hour, with up to 35 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Current California OT license.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• CPR certification, if required.
• TB clearance or health screening as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments for students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and IEP goals.
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
