Job summary

St Stephen's Indian School, part of the US Bureau of Indian Education, seeks a Business Technician to provide critical administrative support on or near the Reservation. This role is not eligible for telework.

Level 02 or Level 03 education/experience paths describe qualifications in bookkeeping, budgeting, purchasing, HR, and clerical work; candidates may qualify with a HS diploma and experience or an Associate Degree with related experience.

Qualifications

• Related field experience in administrative technical areas (e.g., bookkeeping, budget, finance, purchasing, HR, administration, clerical).
• Level 02: HS/GED + 3 years related experience OR Associate Degree/60 sem hrs + 1 year related experience.
• Level 03: HS/GED + 5 years related experience OR Associate Degree/60 sem hrs + 2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical administrative support in a BIE School or Facilities location on or near the Reservation.
