Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support students across a diverse district near Colorado Springs, CO. This full-time contract role focuses on fostering functional skills, independence and participation in school settings, collaborating with educators, families and a multidisciplinary team.

You will conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and participate in IEP meetings while traveling between schools within the district.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Colorado or eligibility to obtain license.
• Experience delivering OT services in a school environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation and compliance.
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management.
• Ability to adapt to varying student needs and school environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive OT assessments and develop individualized intervention plans.
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students to support academic and functional goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, administration and parents to maximize student support.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings.
• Travel within the district as needed to support assigned schools.
