Job summary

AHS Staffing is seeking a School Services School Occupational Therapist for a local contract in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. This 12-week assignment is 35 hours per week, in-person only, to support elementary students with IEP-driven goals.

The OT will assess motor and sensory needs, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with teachers and staff to create supportive learning environments. Valid Kansas OT license required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Valid Kansas OT License is required.
• In-person availability in Shawnee Mission area is expected.
• Experience in school settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to guide therapy plans.
• Deliver OT interventions aligned with IEPs to support academic and developmental goals.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create supportive learning environments.
• Contribute to IEP development with insights on motor and sensory needs.
