Job summary

Care Options for Kids is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to provide coordinated OT services for school-aged children in Oregon. You will plan, implement, and evaluate interventions to develop fine motor and sensory integration skills, while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications include a Master\'s or Doctorate in OT and an active Oregon OT license; pediatric school experience is preferred. Part-time position with a pay rate of $51–$56 per hour.

• Masters or PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, active State OT license in Oregon.
• Pediatric school-based experience preferred.

School-Based Occupational Therapist

• $51-56/per hour
• Part Time

Position Summary:
The position of School-Based Occupational Therapist provides coordinated Occupational therapy to school-aged children. They plan, implement, and evaluate students to provide appropriate fine motor and/or sensory integration skills. They evaluate occupational roles and occupational performance of students with physical and/or cognitive impairments. They provide interventions based on student deficits and they collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.

Education/License/Certification:

• Masters, or PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution of higher education
• Current Active State License to practice Occupational Therapy in OR

Experience/Requirements:

• Pediatric focus and/or School-Based experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information.
• Knowledge of therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
• Excellent communication - verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
• Responsive to requests.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto liability insurance.
