Qualifications

• Must be able to act as Person-in-Charge per health code.
• Experience in quantity cooking preferred (1 year).
• ServSafe Certification and Washington Food Worker’s Card required.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, nutrition and cost control.
• Ability to train others and lead staff to meet shift requirements.
• Strong record-keeping and inventory management skills.
• Demonstrated punctuality and good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Guide assigned personnel in food service operations for students and staff.
• Order and maintain kitchen supplies to meet weekly menus.
• Manage inventory and control waste and labor.
• Train and evaluate Kitchen staff and substitutes.
• Lead daily kitchen cleaning and maintenance.
• Prepare monthly and year-end reports; ensure compliance with health regs.
