Frederick County Public Schools in Virginia is seeking a trainee for our School Nutrition Services program. This role trains toward a future School Nutrition Services Manager, performing supervision, cashiering, ordering, production, record keeping, and related duties.
The position is full-time for 10 months (185 days) starting in the 2026-2027 school year, with a focus on developing leadership and food-service operations within FCPS facilities.
Under general supervision participant completes a training program that will prepare them for all managerial responsibilities including supervision, cashiering, ordering procedures, production, record keeping, etc. in the school nutrition services department. This position is intended to develop a candidate to be considered for a future School Nutrition Services Manager position.
School Nutrition Services Grade C4c Salary Scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)
Full time / 10 months / 185 days
This position is effective for the 2026-2027 school year.
