Orange County Public Schools is seeking a School Food Service Manager for Millennia Elementary School, Middle School and High School in Orlando, FL. The on-site role requires HACCP knowledge, ServSafe certification and leadership to oversee daily operations of school nutrition programs.

The incumbent will manage menus, procurement, staffing and compliance with federal, state and district regulations, ensuring high-quality meals for students across multiple schools within the OCPS system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of school food service experience in OCPS or five years in another district or institutional food service environment.
• Completion of OCPS School Food Service Manager Internship or successful evaluation as a substitute manager.
• ServSafe certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional food and nutrition services for OCPS students; ensure compliance with state, federal and local regulations.
• Lead daily operations, maintain production records and reports, and supervise food service staff.
• Procure and manage food and supplies; ensure menus meet USDA guidelines.
• Maintain communication with district and school personnel; support interviews and staff development.
