Hillsborough County Public Schools seeks a Student Nutrition Production Coordinator to assist in coordinating the preparation and service of meals for their assigned school site.

Responsibilities include batch cooking, quality control, HACCP compliance, and collaboration with nutrition services staff. Two years in food service and successful completion of the dedicated training program are required to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Two years of increasingly responsible experience in food service.
• Must successfully complete the Production Coordinator Training Program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic administrative tasks.

Responsabilités

• Uses and demonstrates batch cooking, proper equipment operation, and standardized recipes.
• Works with the Student Nutrition Services assistants to ensure quality food products are served.
• Inspects and tastes all food items before serving; ensures lines are stocked, cleaned, and attractive.
• Checks temperatures during service; ensures food is prepared and served within HACCP guidelines.
• Records and maintains required records for Student Nutrition Services, Florida Dept. of Agriculture, Hillsborough County Health, and USDA.
• Follows USDA, Florida Dept. of Agriculture, Hillsborough County Health, and district rules to prepare nutritious meals.
• Ensures daily record keeping is complete and up to date.
• Ensures food quality and safety of all meals produced in the kitchen.
• Follows HACCP procedures.
• Handles all program aspects in the absence of the SNs Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
