Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior food service or cashier work experience.
• Ability to follow directions, read, and communicate in English.
• Ability to effectively communicate with students, teachers, school administrators and other Food & Nutrition service-related personnel.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Follow daily work schedules for food production, service, and cleaning.
• Operate point-of-sale systems according to federal guidelines when assigned.
• Adhere to food safety rules, HACCP, and maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist in ordering, proper storage and inventories for all supplies and food items received.
• Perform kitchen duties including pre-preparation, production, service, clean-up, and check-in orders as needed.
• Drive vans to satellite sites for food delivery and drive refrigerated/freezer trucks between sites.
