Compass Group USA is seeking a School Nutrition Dietitian for Mississippi and Louisiana. Location is New Orleans, LA with a Monday–Friday schedule. Requires RD credentials and a Bachelor’s degree.

The role focuses on creating and managing special diet menus for students with allergies or medical conditions, and ensuring compliance through internal menu software. You will collaborate with the child nutrition team, train staff on allergy procedures, and conduct audits to meet USDA program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Registered Dietitian credentials.
• 2–3 years of professional experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage special diet menus for students with allergies or medical conditions.
• Ensure menus meet compliance standards using internal menu software.
• Collaborates with the child nutrition team to support food service operations.
• Train staff on food allergy procedures and program compliance.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure USDA school meal program compliance.
• Research and apply for grants to support district nutrition goals.
• Participate in community events as needed.
