Job summary

Amarillo ISD is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee catering operations and daily school cafeteria activities. You will ensure attractive, well-prepared meals, maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, and interact with school personnel, students, and community groups to deliver excellent service.

Responsibilities include supervising catering staff, coordinating with the Catering Chef, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with district safety protocols while training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe Manager Certification or equivalent/obtainable within timeframe.
• City of Amarillo Food Manager Certification or obtainable within timeframe.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing all catered events and ensure menu adherence.
• Coordinate with Catering Chef to prepare meals per guidelines.
• Operate computer systems (MS Windows, Word, Excel, email).
• Train and schedule catering staff as needed.
• Communicate with customers to arrange catering details and fulfill special requests.
• Direct setup and teardown for events and ensure safety standards.
