Job summary

Anoka-Hennepin School District is seeking a Child Nutrition Assistant to support school meals operations. You will prepare, cook, and serve foods (baking, main dishes, salads) and assist in the dish room while ensuring cleanliness and food safety.

The schedule is 5:45am-1:45pm, 184 days per year, 8-hour shift. Must be able to lift 25 pounds and work in the school building. Benefits include insurance for eligible hours.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Must be physically working in the building.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve foods. Baking, main dish, salad, dish room, and cashier.
• Cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas, dishes, utensils, equipment, and machines. Inventory, storage, and some stocking duties.
