Job summary

Whitsons is hiring a Food Service Worker for Boston Prep Charter School Nutrition. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–2pm, with family-friendly hours and no nights or weekends. The role involves serving meals, maintaining cleanliness, and following safety rules to support student health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Minimum 1 year of professional food service experience preferred but not required.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak and read English sufficient to perform job assignments and safety rules.
• Team-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prep, portion, and serve meals to students and staff.
• Set up and clean serving stations and kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Create a positive and welcoming mealtime experience.
• Work as part of a fun, energetic team.
