Job summary

Carroll County Schools’ Providence Elementary School in Temple, Georgia is seeking a part-time School Nutrition Assistant to prepare and serve meals in accordance with government rules. This role supports daily student learning by delivering healthy lunches and snacks.

The position reports to the School Nutrition Manager/Assistant Manager and requires basic math, the ability to follow directions, and good teamwork. Training classes will be provided, and a 6.5-hour shift is typical.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Able to lift 30 pounds and stand 6–7 hours daily.
• Practice good personal hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve healthy meals in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist with program promotions and daily operations.
