Job summary

Fridley Public Schools in Fridley, MN is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant at Fridley High School to join our Child Nutrition team.

You will prepare, produce and serve a variety of foods, assist with salad bar, dishwashing, cleaning and stocking, and provide courteous service to students and staff in a fast-paced, sanitary environment.

On-site, 4.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday; HS diploma and ServSafe preferred. Placement depends on education and experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to take direction of supervisor.
• Ability to keep information confidential.
• Ability to work cohesively with peers, supervisors, school personnel, and students.
• Ability to demonstrate customer service skills on an ongoing basis.
• Willingness to expand skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, produces and serves a variety of foods according to recipes.
• Cuts vegetables, merchandizes the salad bar, serves customers.
• Washes dishes, cleans and sanitizes assigned areas.
• Assists with putting away stock.
