Job summary

Edina Public Schools is seeking a School Nurse Substitute to support student health services on a district-wide basis. This casual, non-exempt role provides assessment, screening, planning, intervention, evaluation, counseling, management and referrals to meet students’ health needs and minimize absences while promoting a healthy learning environment.

The position requires Minnesota teaching licenses for School Nurse, LPN, or RN, and is offered at a salary of $35.95 per hour.

Position Summary:

To provide assessment, screening, planning, intervention, evaluation, counseling, management and/or referrals concerning the health and medical care needs of students for the purpose of minimizing absences due to illness, maximizing educational opportunities, and creating a healthy school climate.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minnesota teaching license(s): School Nurse, LPN, or RN

Salary Range: $35.95 per hour.

Benefits:

• This is a temporary/casual position.


• Eligible employees will participate in one of the state's largest pension programs (either the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) or the Teachers Retirement Association (TRA)).
