Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking an RN - School Nurse for a 42-week assignment in Federal Way, WA. Shift is 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM, with duties including administering medications and maintaining student health records.

The nurse will support health care needs of students, manage 1:1 transportation if required, and work within the Nurse Practice Act and district policies. Strong knowledge of confidentiality and health guidelines is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold Washington State RN licensure or LPN license.
• Experience with children with special health care needs preferred.
• Completion of an educational program required by Washington State RN licensure guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor medical/health care needs of students and instruct to independence.
• Administer medications and medical procedures as directed by physicians.
• Administer first aid per district and health guidelines.
• Maintain health records for all students.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical information as required by law.
