Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Hathorne, MA for the 26/27 school year. This is a full-time position supporting a local K-12 district with private duty/1:1 nursing services.

You will work with experienced clinical teams, receive ongoing support, competitive W-2 pay, and access to professional development resources. Eligible applicants have MA RN licensure, BSN/ADN, BLS, and pediatric experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Massachusetts.
• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program.
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification.
• Experience working with Pediatric population.
• Ability to work independently in a non-clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous observation of assigned student throughout the school day.
• Implement and monitor student health plans.
• Accompany student during transportation and community-based activities when assigned.
• Communicate significant status changes to family, school staff, and clinical leadership.
• Provide first aid, daily medical care, and emergency support.
• Maintain student confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA requirements.

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Hathorne, MA for the 26/27 school year! This is a full-time position supporting a local K-12 district with private duty/1:1nursing services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Active RN license valid in Massachusetts
• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification
• Demonstrated competency in the specific skills required for the assigned student including:
  • Oxygen and airway management
  • Medication administration
  • Catheterization
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a non-clinical environment
• Experience working with Pediatric population

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, families, therapists, and healthcare providers
• Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Prior school-based experience highly preferred
