Job summary

Astrocare Home Healthcare in Texas is hiring Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses to support Houston ISD students across multiple campuses. This full-time, Monday–Friday daytime role offers a stable schedule and a school environment.

You'll provide skilled nursing care on the bus routes, monitor health needs, administer medications, and coordinate with school personnel and families. Current TX RN/LVN license and CPR/BLS are required; one year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN or LVN license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Home Health, Pediatrics, or School Nursing experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to assigned students during the school bus routes.
• Monitor and assess students' health needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Respond to medical needs and emergencies as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and healthcare providers.
