Job summary

Astrocare Home Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to support Houston ISD bus routes. This full-time role offers a weekday schedule with no nights or weekends, focusing on student health services across multiple campuses in the Houston area.

The position requires Texas RN or LVN licensure and CPR/BLS certification, with preference given to those with pediatric or school health experience.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN or LVN license.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• One year of nursing experience preferred, school health or pediatrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to students on bus routes.
• Monitor and assess students' health needs during transport.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Respond to medical needs and emergencies as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers.

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Split Shift

Location: Multiple Houston ISD campuses throughout the Houston area
