Job summary

ATC Healthcare is seeking School Nurses to support student health across Alabama. The nurses will provide clinical care in health rooms, on bus routes, field trips and 1:1 supports under supervision of the chief school nurse or principal.

Applicants must be a licensed RN or LPN/LVN with at least one year of school-setting experience and CPR certification. ATC offers medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible schedules and competitive hourly pay ranging from $25 to $40.

Qualifications

RN/LPN licensure in state of practice.
1+ year school nursing experience preferred.
CPR certification as required by client facility.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing services to students in health rooms, on buses, field trips and 1:1 situations.
Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation of services.
Coordinate referrals and communicate with school, home, physician and social services.
Provide emergency care as appropriate and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
Comply with ATC policies and school nursing procedures.
