Job summary

ATC Healthcare Services is seeking a School Nurse to provide nursing services to students in the Detroit area schools. The role involves working with school staff, parents, and guardians under supervision of the chief school nurse and/or principal.

Responsibilities include daily student assessments, documenting care, providing first aid, and ensuring proper equipment and PPE are used. Must hold an LPN/LVN license and CPR certification, with experience in school settings.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted license as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• At least one year of nursing experience in a school setting.
• CPR certification as required by client facility; health/screening tests as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services to students within the school environment.
• Assess each student daily and document findings.
• Provide first aid in medical emergencies and coordinate with staff.
