Formación

• Licensed Practical Nursing or equivalent education/training.
• Registered Nurse or equivalent education/training.
• Minimum one year RN/LPN or closely related experience; pediatric experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to students, including administering medications and injections.
• Monitor student health and determine exclusion for illness.
• Maintain accurate health records.
• Conduct vision and hearing screenings and coordinate with families and staff.
• Attend 504 Plan and IEP meetings to support health needs.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators and health providers to promote student health.
• Provide health education to students and staff.
• Perform mandatory reporting to ensure compliance with laws.
• Identify and resolve moderately complex health issues.
• Make minor process improvements within the department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
