The Menta Education Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee student health and well-being at Menta Academy Oak Park and Menta Academy Chicago West. The role covers health education, medical record maintenance, and collaboration with school staff and families.

The RN will coordinate care, review medication consents, and train staff on medication administration, with no night or weekend shifts and a schedule aligned to the school calendar.

Qualifications

• Current/Active Registered Nurse license.
• Knowledge of medical and mental health disorders and treatment.
• Knowledge of child growth and development.

Responsabilités

• Provide first aid care and medically prescribed services.
• Obtain and review consents for medication administration in school.
• Document each instance for medication administration.
• Train designated staff on medication administration and documentation.
• Maintain security of school health supplies.
• Instruct students in health education.
• Correspond with parents and medical providers on health needs of students.
• Record immunizations, health findings, and other relevant health data.
• Maintain related service logs updated weekly.
• Coordinate with administrative staff, teachers, and other staff per IEP.
• Develop Individual Health Care plans for students with allergies.
