Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a School Nurse to support PreK–3 students in a Lewisburg, PA elementary school this fall. The contract runs Sept 8 through Oct 8 with potential extension for the full academic year based on performance and district needs, and includes a 37.5-hour workweek.

The nurse will provide health services, manage records, and collaborate with teachers and families to promote a safe and healthy learning environment.

Qualifications

• Active PA RN licensure and CSN credential required.
• Prior school setting experience with PreK–3 students preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric nursing best practices and school health care.
• Ability to work independently and communicate with students, staff, and parents.
• Familiarity with district and state health guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health services including assessment, first aid, medication administration for students.
• Maintain health records and immunization compliance.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to promote a safe school climate.
• Educate staff and families on health matters and assist in care plans for medical needs.
• Uphold confidentiality and compliance with health guidelines.
