This role requires evening and weekend on-call support, Maine RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and strong communication in a multidisciplinary setting.

School nursing at Kents Hill is a specialized practice that supports student well-being, safety, and academic success through evidence-based care, health promotion, and collaborative engagement with students, families, and faculty.
The School Nurse provides direct and indirect care, case management, health education, and emergency response for a diverse community of high-school-aged students, and works closely with the School’s consulting medical provider to ensure coordinated, high-quality medical care. In our residential setting, the School Nurse plays an essential role in supporting students’ daily lives, providing guidance and reassurance as they navigate both routine and complex health needs. Evening and weekend on-call support is an essential part of this role. This position is well-suited for a nurse who values meaningful relationships, enjoys working in a holistic, community-centered environment, and is energized by the opportunity to contribute to the overall wellness of an active, vibrant boarding school.
