Qualifications

• RN licensure in New Hampshire is required.
• Current BLS certification (adult, child, infant) is required.
• Ability to assess nursing needs and provide interventions.
• Ability to work with students and school staff.
• Knowledge of laws regarding suspected neglect/abuse.

Responsibilities

• Assess scene safety, injury, and illness and respond with intervention.
• Perform nursing assessments and make appropriate referrals.
• Administer medications and treatments as required.
• Document care accurately while ensuring confidentiality.
• Monitor and report suspected abuse and neglect.
• Coordinate with 504 Accommodation Plans for students.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, counselors and principals.
