Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a School Nurse to provide comprehensive health services in a New Hampshire school setting. The role focuses on student assessment, immunization coordination, and crisis response to minimize absences and support educational goals.

Responsibilities include collaboration with families, staff and healthcare providers; maintaining health records; and developing health plans as needed while adhering to state regulations and district policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry or related science with health assessment coursework
• RN license current in state regulations
• Master's degree preferred in related field

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with healthcare providers, students' families, school district staff and community agencies to ensure access and continuity of care
• Assists in establishing and maintaining a comprehensive school health program
• Maintains accurate health records in compliance with state and federal law
• Develops Individual Health Care Plans (ICHP) as needed and integrates into IEPs
• Provides health education and counseling to students, parents, and staff
• Implements Board policy on infectious diseases and school health procedures
• Provides nursing assessments for ill or injured students and coordinates referrals
