Job summary
MEP Health is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one nursing care in a school setting for students with complex medical needs, including g-tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators.
Key responsibilities include administering care for trach/vent/G-tube needs, seizure monitoring, personal and diabetic care, and potentially riding the bus with the patient.
Qualifications
- RN license is required and must be current.
- Health certificate must be current.
- Positive PPD or chest X-ray on file.
- BLS certification required.
- Preferably 1 year RN pediatric experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer care for students with trach, vent, G-tube feeding.
- Monitor seizures and provide personal and diabetic care.
- Possibly assist with bus transport for the student.
