Job summary

Osseo Education Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide preventive health services and emergency care for students and staff in Osseo, Minnesota. Immediate start with school-year schedule and a part-time 37.5-hour work week.

The RN must hold Minnesota licensure, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to administer medications, perform health screenings, and maintain health records within district guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a registered nurse currently licensed in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status and provide emergency care for sick or injured school children.
• Administer medications and health care treatments as directed by physicians/parents.
• Assess health and developmental status through health screenings and referrals as needed.
• Promote health and well-being through health teaching and counseling.
• Develop Individual Health/Emergency Plans for students with special needs and coordinate with families and staff.
• Maintain health records and manage health-related documentation.
