Sunbelt is seeking a Float LPN to support K-12 student health across the district in a full-time contract role. You will float among schools, delivering direct nursing care to students of all ages and backgrounds.

You’ll manage medications, health assessments, and acute and chronic conditions, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with educators, families, and a healthcare team. Tracheostomy and G-Tube experience or training are welcome.

Formación

• Active nursing license valid in Washington state.
• Experience with pediatric populations preferred.
• Willingness to float between schools and adapt to varied environments.
• Experience with tracheostomy and G‑tube care or readiness to receive training.

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered LPN license from the state of Washington
• Previous experience in school nursing or significant pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Willingness to float between schools and adapt to changing environments
• Experience with tracheostomy and G-Tube care, or openness to district-provided training
• Completion of district-mandated Vector training prior to assignment
• Professional references required
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to students, including medication administration, health assessments, and care for chronic and acute conditions
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and assist with student health needs across varying age groups
• Work closely with educators, staff, and families to support student health plans
• Complete and maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Contribute to health education and promotion throughout the school community

This contract position allows you to work a full schedule throughout the school year, making a difference for the entire district while enjoying the variety and flexibility of a float role.
