Job summary

Meeting Street in Rhode Island is seeking a School Registered Nurse to provide health services for students for 40 hours per week. The RN will maintain student health, respond to emergencies, and administer medications as ordered by physicians.

Requires RI RN license and CPR/BCLS certification. The role involves working in classrooms, on field trips, and on special activities, with sensitivity to students' diverse health needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Rhode Island is required.
• Maintains current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR certification.
• Ability to adapt to medical/technical equipment used to provide health services to students.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the health and well-being of students during school hours and responds to emergencies.
• Keeps up-to-date records for all students and assists with scheduling health screens.
• Performs nursing procedures and administers medications as ordered by physician.
