Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or eligibility for licensure.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Experience in pediatric, school nursing, or related nursing preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and health services to students in a school setting.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate student healthcare needs using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school policies.
• Respond to student illnesses, injuries, and health emergencies.
• Maintain accurate and timely health records and documentation.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, healthcare providers, and administrators to support student health and wellness.
• Monitor and manage students with chronic health conditions and individualized healthcare plans.
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics and preventive care practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, school policies, and professional nursing standards.
• Perform supervisory responsibilities when assigned within contracted services.
