Job summary

Sacramento City Unified School District is seeking a licensed school nurse for a full-time, 10-month position. The role requires a designated services credential with health specialization (or equivalent) and a current CPR certificate, plus a bachelor's degree or higher and a valid RN license.

Two years of school nurse or public health nursing experience is desirable and will receive priority consideration. Audiometrist certification is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Possession of a designated services credential with a health specialization or equivalent authorization, issued by the California Commission for Teacher Preparation and Licensing.
• Current CPR certificate is required.
• Bachelor's degree or higher and a current registered nurse license are required.
• Two years experience as a school nurse and/or public health nurse is desirable and will warrant priority consideration.
• Audiometrist certificate is useful but not required.
