Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in nursing from a regionally accredited college.
• Minimum 3 years of school nurse experience and 2 years of nursing leadership experience.
• California RN license required; CPR, CPR Instructor, Audiometric and AED certificates; health credential in California.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for health issues within the district.
• Monitor health and immunization requirements.
• Provide nursing direction to licensed and non-licensed staff.
• Coordinate health screening services and training for staff.
• Represent the district with the County Health Department and other agencies.
• Assist recruitment and orientation of new personnel.
