Boston Speech Therapy is seeking a School Nurse for a full-time contract to support a student with feeding tube management and epilepsy-related care during the school day.

The nurse will provide one-to-one medical care, administer medications per the healthcare plan, monitor for emergencies, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless student care. This role emphasizes accurate documentation and teamwork in a child-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Valid nursing license with current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Prior experience working as a School Nurse or in a similar healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of pediatric health conditions and treatments.
• Ability to assess and respond to medical emergencies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
