Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) certification and license required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide direct medical care to students and campers.
• Prevent and control illnesses to support learning.
• Administer over-the-counter and prescription medications.
• Develop care plans for students with ongoing conditions.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and document all care.
• Maintain health records and immunizations.
• Coordinate medical records for minimum health standards.
• Communicate with parents about visits and treatments.
• Provide nursing coverage for events outside normal hours.
