Now Hiring: Onsite School Nurse (RN or LPN) – 1:1 Position | Soliant Education

Location: Near Alburtis, PA
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: March 2026 (exact date TBD; includes extended school year)
Hours: Monday – Friday | 7:15 AM – 2:35 PM
Caseload: 1:1 with a High School student with Type 1 Diabetes
Travel: Nurse will provide door-to-door care – riding to and from school with the student
Position Type: Full-Time, Contract | 2024–2025 School Year

About the Role:

Soliant Education is seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a school-based 1:1 nursing position. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to a high school student with Type 1 Diabetes throughout the school day, including transportation to and from school.

Responsibilities:

• Ride the bus or transportation with the student to/from school daily.

• Monitor and manage Type 1 Diabetes care, including insulin administration and glucose monitoring.

• Ensure student safety during the school day and in transit.

• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student’s care plan.

• Maintain accurate documentation of health interventions and observations.

Requirements:

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Pennsylvania.

• CNA certifications are not eligible for this role.

• Previous experience with diabetes care preferred.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to remain calm and proactive in a school environment.
