Qualifications

• Active RN license in Minnesota in good standing.
• Experience as school nurse or in pediatric/public health settings.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong assessment, communication, and records skills.
• Comfort with emergency response and individualized healthcare planning.
• Ability to establish rapport with students, parents, and faculty.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing services to students and staff, including first aid, illness assessment, medication administration, and health screenings.
• Develop and follow individualized healthcare and emergency care plans.
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records and required reports.
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families regarding student health concerns.
• Participate in school health initiatives, wellness education, and training as needed.
• Respond effectively to urgent medical situations.
• Uphold infection control procedures and contribute to a safe campus environment.
