Job summary

SAU #6 is seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join Claremont Middle School in Claremont, NH. The nurse will oversee student health services, manage acute and chronic conditions, administer medications, and coordinate emergency care to safeguard student well-being across the district.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Active RN license in the State of New Hampshire.
• Current NH School Nurse Certification or eligibility.
• Current BLS/CPR/AED certification for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Direct student care, evaluate injuries, illnesses, and medical emergencies.
• Administer prescribed meds and implement IHPs and 504 accommodations.
• Conduct mandated health screenings and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate emergency responses, train staff on health protocols (CPR, EpiPen).
• Provide health education and consultation to students, staff, and families.
